All our Helpline Volunteers are selected and professionally  trained to a high standard. They will listen to you with real empathy, while  working with you to explore your problems.

Our  Helpline Volunteers all receive on-going training to help them to understand the worries and concerns of every family member, whatever their age or sex.

FamilyLine has been helping callers to the confidential freephone telephone helpline service since 1994 and by email since 2009.

When troubled by a particular problem it is easy to feel isolated and quite alone, if you don’t know where to turn for help.

At the Family Helpline we’re here to listen to you supportively, without judging you. By helping you talk through your problems while exploring them with you, we hope, we can help you and, if possible, find a solution.

We will listen without judgement and nobody will make up your mind for you.

Anonymity gives you the freedom to tell us exactly how you feel
